Master Calendar

Bookpoint Springs Academy provides up-to-date online calendars at www.bookpointsprings.org.

The calendar shows school events,

• Educational Trips,
• Exam dates,
• Public holidays,
• Mid and End Term opening and closings dates.

At the beginning of the year, families will receive a printed calendar from Bookpoint Academy which lists school major events. As this is printed well in advance, some dates may be subject to change. The online calendars provide the most current information.

Annual Events There are a number of significant events throughout the year that mark milestone for our students and parents. At Bookpoint Springs Academy, we encourage parents to take an active role in these activities.

Interactive Meetings

Bookpoint Springs Academy holds one formal parent-teacher meeting per class each year. The meeting provides parents with a chance to see their child’s work and to learn about their child’s adjustment to school. It is also a time for teachers and parents to share the goals they have for the child, and to discuss ways in which they can work together to help the child meet these goals.

The meeting also focuses on the progress the child has made throughout the school year. This is also a time when teachers will seek information that will help them with the child’s placement for the following year.

Sports

As a school, we recognize that participation in sports and physical activities play a significant role in the development of child’s life. We actively encourage all students to participate in a large range of age-appropriate physical activities and extra – curricular activities including school- based

Newsletter The Bookpoint Springs Academy journal is our News newsletter and will be published termly. The journal contains news of students, challenges, achievements, current activities, schedule of meetings and reflections from the principal and members of the school administration.
