Parental Involvement

In setting our Aims and Objectives we fully appreciate that our success depends on us working in partnership with all parents for the benefit of the children. Each of us has responsibilities and expectations to fulfill.

Parents are an integral part of the partnership between home and school. Parents reinforce lessons learned in school relating not only to academic subjects, but also to character, values, and behavior. The School supports values and cultural patterns that are learned at home, endeavoring to balance the needs of individual students and families with those of the school community.

Events like Orientation Days and Interactive meetings help families to get to know the school better as their children join us. Parent visiting days give parents additional opportunities to learn about the School and the specifics of what their child is learning and experiencing daily.

Parents have many opportunities to volunteer at school

From the time a student enrolls, the student’s parents and/or guardians are members of the Bookpoint Academy Parents Association. The purpose of the Parents Association is to enhance and support the cooperative efforts of the students, the administration, and the parents to foster the well-being and advancement of Bookpoint Springs Academy and to support fundraising activities for the School.

All are encouraged to volunteer. There is an important place for every parent or guardian who wants to be involved.

Being a student is easy. Learning  requires actual work.”
