Please select the grade your child is applying for.
How are the admission pieces evaluated?
There are multiple inputs into a student’s candidacy for admission and we consider each child holistically. For Lower School, the report from the current school, parent statement and interview aid us in reaching an admission decision.
What is a parent meeting?
A parent meeting is a time for parents to meet with a member of our Admissions Team. This meeting allows us to get to know you, and for you to get to know our school. We also look forward to answering any questions that you may have. This meeting will be scheduled after you submit your admission application.
Which applicants are given preference in the Admission process?
Applications from the following candidates will be given priority consideration:
- Children with a sibling enrolled at Bookpoint Springs Academy
- Early registration
- Children transferring from other schools associated with Bookpoint Springs Academy.
- Children of staff at Bookpoint Springs Academy.

How do I contact the admission team?
We are available to answer any of your questions. Please feel free to contact us either by email or phone: 0798215670.
When can I submit an application for admission?
Bookpoint Springs Academy begins accepting applications for the following school year directly after Mid Term of every third term. Completed admission applications will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee and notifications will be made on a continuous, space available basis.
What takes place during my child’s visit?
Pre- School and Kindergarten applicants participate in an observed playgroup with similar aged children. Students applying to grade 1 through 3 participate in a one-onone interview with an Admissions representative.
When will I be notified about admission decisions?
The Admissions Committee of Bookpoint Springs Academy issues admissions decisions on a continuous basis in accordance with our admissions preference policy. Families who apply through our regular registration program can typically anticipate a decision from the school within one week of their application’s completion date.
After December 15th, am I still eligible for early registration?
Yes, 20th. December is the earliest date we will notify Early Applications of our admissions decisions. This date will primarily be for classes that do not require written tests (early childhood). For other families who have chosen Early Registration, we will make admission decisions as soon as the file is complete rather than waiting for the January timeframe.
What if I change my mind and decide my child won’t attend Bookpoint Springs Academy?
Early Registration is not a binding decision. You are free to accept or decline the offer at your own will.
If I wait for regular admissions decision timeframe, how will this impact my chances?
We expect to have less spots available to award given the high interest in the school this year. Early Registration is the best way for qualified families to secure placement at Bookpoint Springs Academy.
What are the additional fees not included in tuition?
- Text Books & Stationeries
- School Educational trips
- Prize Giving Day
Much education today is monumentally ineffective. All too often we are giving young people cut flowers when we should be teaching them to grow their own plants.
