Admission Criteria

Bookpoint Springs Academy has adopted the following selection criteria:-

• Both male and female pupils will be accepted.
• Admission is based on space availability. Pupils already attending our Kindergarten levels will be placed first, provided that they meet the minimum criteria.
• Thereafter, the applicants that meet the minimum criteria will be placed on a first-come, first served basis.
• Admission is conditional on ability to pay the prescribed school fees.
• While the school does not have a policy of retaining only pupils with high academic potential, only those applicants who meet minimum academic criteria will be considered for admission. Applicants may be subjected to an interview. The purpose of such exams is not to rank candidates academically but to ensure that the school is in a position to understand the pupil’s strength and weaknesses.
• Successful applicants MUST also agree to submit to the School’s Code of Conduct.
• Only those applicants (other than for Kindergarten) who are six years and older at the time of application or who will be six years old by 1st January of the year of admission, will be considered.
